MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) — A Miami Beach ambulance ready to take an injured person to the hospital crashed into a taxi cab on Friday.
Miami Beach Police said the crew had a person suffering from a stab wound in the chest inside the truck at the time. The wounds were non-threatening.

They were getting ready to take the stab victim to the hospital when they crashed into cab on 71st Street and Abbott Avenue.
Both the stabbing victim and the cab driver were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The area was closed off and later reopened.
Police have not said who was at fault in the crash.
