DAVIE (CBSMiami) – All but one northbound lane of the Florida Turnpike at Griffin Road has reopened following a rollover crash in Davie.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the northbound lanes at Griffin Road were closed for hours after a truck carrying a load of rocks overturned and spilled its load out into the roadway.
In addition, about 50-gallons of fuel leaked from the trucks saddle tanks.
Haz-mat crews sprayed foam on the leaking fuel in order to prevent any type of explosion or fire.
Nobody was hurt in the crash.
