MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A car crashed an ambulance late Thursday afternoon.
According to Miami-Dade Fire, a silver late-model VW Beetle slammed into an ambulance at the intersection of SW 8th Street and 107th Avenue around 4 p.m. Thursday.
The ambulance overturned, shattering the windshield.
One person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition. Miami-Dade Fire officials said no patients were in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
